Name/Alterego: Ursa Byrd

Personality: Ursa means well, but she can be a little eccentric. She's wild but has a ready smile for everyone she meets. She likes to talk and she likes to run. She likes clothes but when one of her friends, Rose Honovi tried to teach her to sew, she failed utterly. She tried to get Rose to sew clothes for her and in exchange Ursa would give her food. But Rose doesn't like Ursa's cooking because Ursa is a vegan.

Supername: Nightfall

Powers: She has power over a strange, non-neutonian tar-like substance. It looks like condenced darkness but is warm and feels kind of soft, like satin. Ursa can use it to create different shapes and lift things up and bring them to her. She doesn't know where it comes from. She doesn't know if she pulls it from the air or from the ground or from herself. If Ursa isn't working with it it disappears, seeming to evaporate. Her geeky little brother called it 'anti-matter,' but that's only because he thought it sounded cool. Ursa is also abnormally strong and hasn't gotten sick for a really long time.

Weaknesses: Ursa is lactose intolerant (but that's never bothered her too much because of being vegan) and her anti-matter dissolves in high temperatures.

Superhero or Supervillain: Superhero

Archrival: None. She's here to watch out for Rose, not to make enemeies.

Appearance: Ursa is kinda pale with medium length dark brown hair. She has dark brown eyes to match. She dresses usually in a t-shirt and a skirt or just wears a dress. She only wears shorts when she goes running. She usually wears her sunglasses because they're Prada and she loves them.

History/Backstory (How you get your powers in story from): Ursa lived in Lake Front with Rose. By her house is a creek that feeds the lake they live on. Once Rose fell in and almost died. But she became Cobra instead. (See Cobra's bio for more details on the creek.) The Byrd family supposes that some of the creek water leaks into their water supply because all the children of the family can do something odd. Ursa's older sister, Marie, can see sound. Ursa's aforementioned younger brother, Teagan, can change his hair style and color whenever he feels like it. And all three never get sick anymore. Ursa is by far the most powerful.

Ursa chose to hide her powers. The power thing is the Byrd family's dirty little secret. She practiced rarely and has not pushed herself so she doesn't know what she can and cannot do. When Rose survived the fall into the creek, Ursa started hanging out with her more. She started to notice little changes. Rose was having trouble hiding what she was because the changes were coming all at once. Soon the whole town of Lake Front knew something was off. When Rose was questioned, she became frightened and took off. Ursa followed, because, more and more in the years since her friends accident, she's beginning to feel as if Rose is Ursa's responsibility.
