School yard

Quin stood outside, his backpack swung over his shoulder as he waited for his aunt to show up. All his hoping and wishing for his uncle to be named his guardian had failed terribly and now Adelaide McNamara was coming to meet him. He had never even seen a picture of her before... His father had never spoken of her, even when asked and his Uncle Gorge was always overseas on some business trip. He had never even been able to guess why his parents had named her his custodian should anything happen to them. Gorge would have been better in his mind...

Adelaide approached the teen, noting that he had taken after his father instead of his mother.
"Quinlin McNamara?" she asked, cocking her head to the side.

Turning at the sound of his name, Quin froze...not literally thankfully. His aunt was at least in her 40s... but the woman before him didn't look a day over 20. And putting aside her youthful appearance, she looked strange. Covered from head to toe, she seemed terribly pale and the dead serious expression deep in her face. She looked indifferent and rather villainous.

"Um...yeah. Hi um..." he had no idea what to call her...

And Adelaide didn't care that he didn't know what to say. Glancing him over from head to foot, she sighed softly.
"Well...come." she murmured, heading for the road. Quin closed his mouth and hurried after her.

"Um..where are we going? And what can I call you? Don't you have a car?" He asked in rapid secession.

Adelaide groaned silently. He was so annoying...she had met heroes that were more agreeable.
"Adelaide..." she returned. "The morgue."

And Quin for some odd reason didn't say another word, no doubt struck dumb.

Adrian sat on a bench and waited.

Leon sat beside him. "What's up?"

Adrian grinned. "Not much. why?"
