Lady Lustre vs. The Performer

A friendly battle between Heroes.

Lady Lustre entered the arena. "Heya Max."

"Hey Lisa, ready to get going?"

"Yep," And with that Lady Lustre threw a plasmoid at Max.

The member 'Lisa Prince' has done the following action : Attack!

'Powers!' :

Max clapped loudly, manipulating the sound it created into a barrier to block the plasmoid, before clapping once again, this time turning the sound into an arrow, aimed straight at Lady Lustre.

The member 'Maxine Blackman' has done the following action : Attack!

'Powers!' :

Lady Lustre flew up so that the arrow would miss it's target.

She then turned back and threw several plasmoids at the Performer's direction.

The member 'Lisa Prince' has done the following action : Attack!

'Powers!' :

Grimacing as the plasmoids hit her, The Performer threw a barrier up around herself, just a little too late. Sucking in a deep breath she shrieked loudly, super-sonicising her voice in an attempt to unbalance Lady Lustre. Not finished with that, she leapt forwards, aiming first a kick at her friend's stomach, twisting her body around quickly to take another swing at Lady Lustre

The member 'Maxine Blackman' has done the following action : Attack!

Lady Lustre did a plasmoid barrier to throw off the Performer's attempt in being unbalanced, she then managed to block Max's punch aimed at her, but wasn't able to block the kick.

Lady Lustre flew up in an attempt to get a better angle, and threw several plasmoids at Max with both hands.

The member 'Lisa Prince' has done the following action : Attack!

Yet another plasmoid made its way through her barrier and Max was hit again. This is getting ridiculous! Max though, once upon a time my barriers were my post responsive power

Seeing another plasmoid flying straight at her, she rolled out of the way and leapt to her feet just in time to block another with a weak but effective barrier. Unfortunately the barrier broke with the strain of that one plasmoid allowing another, unseen one, to break through and hit her again.

Frowning, Max clapped twice, sending the two sound-arrows at either one of Lisa's ears, again hoping to upset her balance and perhaps stop her from flying for a few minutes

The member 'Maxine Blackman' has done the following action : Attack!

'Powers!' :

Lady Lustre was hit on one ear and thus was anticipating the attack on her other. She was able to block the arrow headed for her other ear.

Lady Lustre decided to give the Performer a punch and kick combo.

The member 'Lisa Prince' has done the following action : Attack!

Twisting out of the way of one kick only to be hit by the other, Max buckled over luckily missing yet another attack, but before she could move out of the way of Lustre's fourth attack, it connected with her arm and sent her stubling backwards.

Right then she thought to herself, I guess I'd better try something a little different then

Crouching down as far as she could manage, Max tightened her body like a spring, powering off from the ground with a great leap which took her up to Lady Lustre's height, where she aimed a kick at one shoulder, twisting her body again to aim for the other with another kick.

She landed on the ground soundlessly, and clapped loudly, using the sound in an attmept to buffet her oppopnent out of the air, and slipping a sharpened note into the attack.

Having finished that technique, The Performer added in her most powerful, but most difficult to aim move, one which also left her overly vulnerable to attack; singing out one pure note, she maipulated the sound to envelope Lisa in a sound barrier, which, if it worked correctly, would block all her attacks, and even cause some of them to rebound at the attacker in some cases.

The member 'Maxine Blackman' has done the following action : Attack!

Lady Lustre was able to dodge the kick however that left her right on target for the other one. She gasp as the wind was knocked out of her.

Recovering from her hit, she was unable to block Max's next attack and that made her fall on the ground hard.

Thanking the heavens, Max missed her last attack.

Lady Lustre got back up and decided she could fight was as well as on the floor as well on the sky.

She threw plasmoids repeatedly and with great frequency towards Max.

Getting the hang of dodging these things now, Max was able to avoid the sudden influx of plasmoids for the most part - the one that did hit her merely grazed her leg - thankfully not singing her boots in any way.

She didn't have enough energy to recreate her ultimate attack, but Lisa seemed to have been weakened enough by her other attacks. Wondering if this would end up her last attack, Max decided to focus less on her powers and more on physical strength for her next move.

Lady Lustre flew next to Max, bloodied, and panting heavily.

"Nice battle."

"Yeah" Max replied, equally breathless, "It was one of my most strenuous in a while - especially considering it was only a friendly fight." she extended a hand for Lisa to shake, her godfather had always taught her to be polite in situations such as these.
