The church's Narthex

Donald smiled. "Love is always easy to spot, once you look for it."

Mari smiled. "I think you are the only catholic father who would understand that."

Donald smiled. "I started out with a few easier religions. It was hard to find a good fit."

Mari nodded. "That'd be simpler."

"Well, it was hard to learn to be a Father, when I have to explain why I can also work as a buddhist, a lutheran, an islamic priest, and so on." Donald joked.

Mari grinned. "Again, I'm Lutheran."

"Well, I cna go as a Lutheran pastor then." Donald said.

Mari smiled. "There was a pastor at my church that reminds me of you..."

Donald smiled. "Is that good or bad?"

Mari laughed. "He was a good guy. So it's good."

Donald laughed also. "Most of them are."

Mari shook her head. "You'd be amazed..."

He smiled. "Sometimes I hope I won't be."

Mari smiled. "Yes, really. How did you get into religion, father?"

He shrugged. "Working in a cubicle, or running around everywhere, never really interested me, and I would study a religion when I join, might as well be paid for studying it."

Mari nodded as her pager beeped at her. "Well, crap. We have an emergancy at the hospital. I will be back soon, Father, if not for Mass, then to tell you the date of the wedding."

Donald smiled. "Go in peace, my child."

Some villains would be above doing damage or thinking of doing damage to a church... Adelaide McNamara was not one of them.
Silently making her way in, she cocked her head to the side and stared at the cross. The last time she had entered a church she had been with her grandparents and had been 5 years old. They had been devout Catholics and had even thought it would be perfect if she had become a nun... obviously she had not taken their career advice. Not that she had not chosen celibacy come to think of it.

Running a gloved hand across a pew, Adelaide sighed. Going back to the memories of her less than stellar childhood was not something she did often. But standing in the church, with complete silence about her reminded her of the past she had almost forgotten.

Mari had entered behind the woman, to pray, for the zombies and everyone else. The woman set off her ear. She hung back.

Donald entered, looked at the 2 women, then hung back, unsure if either would wish his presence.

Mari said, "Father Donald, I had some more wedding plans for you." The ringing was double now, and annoying her.

Adelaide turned around slowly, her indifferent expression altering slightly as she recognized the doctor from the newspaper... ah the one giving the ball, she mused, lightly leaning back against the pew.
Not one to speak very often, she had no problem listening. After all, being anti-social meant that no one around one was important...news however was.

Donald smiled. "Ah, Marisol...How have you been?"

Mari smiled back, a little strained. "Why the HELL did I follow?" she asked herself. "I'm good. I was just going to tell you a few things about the wedding, but I see you are busy." She nodded to the female villain.

Adelaide glanced from the doctor woman to the man... apparently the pastor, father or priest of the church.
"Hardly." she quipped, her usual practice of concise wording playing out.
