Ms. D'Arc's room- History

A nice room, there are timelines, there are pictures, there are books. Ms. D'Arc has info about nearly everything out there. And she doesn't mind answering questions. Just don't ask about her name.

She teaches all forms of history.

Samantha walked into the new teacher's room. "Hello. I'm Samantha Eppes. I teach in the next classroom. You must be the new teacher. It's nice to meet you. What's your name?"

Jean looked at her, then smiled. "I heard about you. Any questions, and we go to you for answers, right? The oldest teacher here. Well, not oldest, but you're hte one that's been here longest."

Sam frowned when she was called the oldest. Then she shrugged. "Well, I know what's going on here. I'll help you out. First, I've got to tell you, the supers show up every so often. They are either heroes or villains, and the villains will hurt, so you try to get away. the heroes will save you, given the chance."

"Supers? There are others with these powers?" Jean gasped.

"I didn't think that was possible. What are they like?"

"Others?" Sam paused. "You have powers?"

Jean backtracked. "Um, I was just thinking, I thought they were all in comics."

She twiddled with a strand of hair, but a spark leapt between her fingers, then more followed until there were arcs going everywhere. "Ok. Yeah, I'm a...super."

Sam smiled. "Hero or villain? Cause if you're a hero, you're supposed to live in the watchtower with us other heroes. Not sure on villains though."

She was shocked. "What? You're a super? Why didn't you say something?"

Sam shrugged slightly. "Am I supposed to say that I'm a super, when you could be a villain or something? You're new to this. well, I think you are, so I'll help you out. Look. you can't go running around telling poeple you're a super. the rest of us don't. We live together, if we're heroes, but the villains go elsewhere. so. Anyway, I'm a super. I am a hero. What about you?"

Jean smiled. "I'm a hero also, I guess. Are there alot of villains?"

Sam shrugged. "They don't seem to be around right now. But, they show up whenever you don't want them."

"Like now," Mal said. "Yes, I'm making it a bad habit. Don't worry I do it at home too. Sam, may I have an introduction?" She silently asked, "Is she a hero?"

Sam frowned. "Yeah, Mal, this is Jean D'Arc. She's the history teacher. Yeah, she's a hero."

Mal grinned. "Hi! I'm Malorie Seacrest." Even if this woman was a hero, she wasn't about to blurt out her secret.

Sam shrugged. "So, Jean, have you found someplace to live yet?"

Jean shook her head. "Not really. You know where I should go?"

Sam smiled. "Come on, you can go to the watchtower."

"I can?" She smiled. "Cool. I'm guessing you live there?"

Sam smirked. "Me and all the supers."

"How many are there?" Jean asked quickly.

Same shrugged. "A few. Well, several. We don't se most of them, they show up, then we don't see them again until they're back."

"Cool. Well, we'll see each other alot. We work together."

Sam nodded. "That, and you live right next to me, and we're going to have correcting parties, if I can convince the other 2. WE can correct papers from all the classrooms at once- it'll give us a break from correcting the same papers 100 times, then moving on to correct the same paper 100 times. only 25, and we switch subjects entirely. we used to do that at the old school."

"Oh yeah, sounds great." Jean siad., "I'm so going to take advantage of that."
